The Soaring Safaris team has a proven record with safety, efficiency and a reliable service for its guests.
Only our pilot-owners are allowed to fly our planes, each pilot with more than 2000 flying hours of bush flying under his wings. In the aviation industry, an owner – operated aircraft is synonymous of reliability and the reasons are obvious: the aircraft will not be mishandled by un-experienced pilots but rather is well taken care of by its owners; the pilot knows the whole history of the aircraft and is so fine-tuned with that specific machine that he picks up any small change in behaviour, often anticipating possible problems; the owner, his friends and family are regular passengers, so safety is always paramount.
Safety as a primary goal goes back to the purchase of our aircrafts. We selected the ones with the most reliable history. At our home base in Windhoek (Namibia) we continually examine and assess safety, we perform maintenance onsite and nothing is spared. Each aircraft is checked and maintained according to regulated maintenance schedules as stipulated by the relevant Civil Aviation Authority and also in accordance to the manufacturer requirements. From an operational point of view, to further enhance safety, we use our aircrafts only for OUR AirSperience safaris, never sub-leasing them to other operators.
Safety & COVID
- What better way to achieve social distancing hence to protect you and your beloved ones than an AirSperience safari.
- While on the ground we make sure you will have your dedicated vehicles throughout your stay, and they will be sanitized before you start your safari.
- And of course with your AirSperience the same personal aircraft throughout the journey comes as a standard feature, and we’ll make sure it is sanitized before you come onboard.
- Staying in small and exclusive boutique camps or lodges in remote locations translates naturally in social distancing.
